RI 🏠 Sales 📈 in October!
Today, The RI Association of Realtors released their most recent market statistics comparing October 2017 with October of 2016.
Here are the highlights statewide:
⬆️The median price of single-family homes rose 12.7% to $264,950
⬆️Sales Activity increased 8.6%
⬇️Pending sales were down 18.2% - likely due to a lack of inventory.
⬇️The supply of homes for sale dropped 8.7%
⬆️Condo sale were up 44.4% but the median price fell ⬇️ 8.3% to $199,900
⬆️Multi-Family homes had sales activity also increase 7.9% and the median price increased 21.9%
And the single-family highlights in the central part of the state:
⬇️Warwick saw their number of sales decrease by 15.20%
⬆️Warwick saw their median price increase 11%
⬆️East Greenwich saw their number of sales increase 61.54%
⬇️East Greenwich saw their median price decrease by 2.72%
⬆️West Warwick saw their median price increase 2.7% their number of sales increase 25%
⬆️Coventry saw the median price increase 10.73% and the number of sales increase by 7.84%
⬆️North Kingstown saw the median price increase by 13.32% and the number of sales increase by 34.48%
⬆️Cranston saw their median price increase by 17.58% and the total number of sales increase by 6.49%%
