1. 45TH ANNUAL NORMAN BIRD SANCTUARY HARVEST FAIR
Where: 583 Third Beach Rd, Middletown, RI
When: October 5th & 6th from 10:00 to 5:00pm
An autumn ritual for generations of families, this beloved old-fashioned fair offers something for everyone. The “Mabel Express” Barrel Train, Monkey Bridge, Mud Pit, Midway games and Children’s crafts tent invites kids of all ages to join in the fun. Crafters and artisans sell their beautifully created items, enticing fair-goers to get a jump on holiday shopping. Local food and beer vendors offer an array of appetizing selections, while an impressive line-up of musicians round out the festive atmosphere.
2. WAKEFIELD OKTOBERFEST
Where: 317 Main St. Wakefield, RI
When: October 5th from 12:00pm to 11:00pm
Come to Main Street for our 4th annual Oktoberfest...a day of live music, street performers, dancing, vendors & original art, kids games, RiverFire, and food & drink between noon and 11 PM on Saturday, Oct. 5th, in downtown Wakefield. Enjoy evening RiverFire, and loads of family friendly activities all day!
3. RI HARVEST BBQ 2019
Where: Schartner Farms, 1 Arnold Place, Exeter, RI
When: October 6th from 4:00 to 7:00pm
The RI Harvest BBQ celebrates the most special time of year in New England, the autumn harvest. With incredible food, drink & an inspired sense of community, it has become one of the best events of the year.
4. 12TH ANNUAL DOG WALK & COSTUME CONTEST
Where: Asylum Rd, Warwick, RI
When: October 5th from 10:30am to 1:30pm
12th Annual Dog Walk, Blessing of the Animals and Costume Contest to benefit the adoptable animals at Warwick Animal Shelter.
5. HAUNTED TUNNEL AT SLATER PARK
Where: 825 Armistice BLVD, Pawtucket, RI
When: October 5th from 6:30 to 9:00pm
Fright Night in the Park” at Daggett Farm. Because of its scary content, the Tunnel is strongly recommended for ages 12 and above only. Admission $10. Early arrival is strongly recommended. Adjacent to the carousel Slater Park Pavilion is the “family-friendly” “Jack-o-Lantern Village” event displayed with jack-o-lanterns, a witch’s house and other surprises
